Farewell Port Angeles, it's been swell. Due to a job situation I am moving away from the area, the blog will stay up as an archive.

What a sweet photo; I wonder if this is a child's gravesite. Have to go back now to checkit out.

Don't believe I have ever seen a bird sculpture in the cemeteries around here. Very nice.

It is interesting what one finds in a cemetery! Some are elaborate, others are simple - this bird is simply sweet.

This drippy weather we are having is the perfect backdrop to your very beautiful photo. I love your point of view in this shot. It speaks volumes, especially the bits of rust and rough patina of the dove. . .a fitting thought for a veteran's marker. Kudos on this photo, a great one for our theme day.

Nice photo. Very well composed. Interesting that the ornament was on a WWII vet's grave. Maybe it was left by a grandchild or great grandchild.
