Farewell Port Angeles, it's been swell. Due to a job situation I am moving away from the area, the blog will stay up as an archive.

Fabulous. After a day of bridges, it made me laugh that you have remains but what beautiful remains. Really nice post.

Bad timing for a bridge theme, huh? :) Well, but you managed to post a very interesting photo. Happy theme day!

Looks like your photo is soon to be a thing of the past. It will be nice to have as reference of what the old bridge looked like - well, part of it, anyway. I imagine it will be replaced by a more modern design.

I look forward to seeing the finished bridge.

Are they going to reuse it or remove that too?

I believe that they will be completely removing the old base. But I haven't seen any new parts arriving!

At least it's being replaced! The bridges here are in a state of disrepair and has become a political football in some cases.

Get well soon, bridge.
