Farewell Port Angeles, it's been swell. Due to a job situation I am moving away from the area, the blog will stay up as an archive.

National Parks are usually so beautiful. I'd not heard of this so I'm learning a lot today. Nice photo.

Thanks for visiting Glasgow today! It tried to snow here yesterday but it didn't last, looks like it was more successful round your way!

You are cordially invited to return to Sydney for a reconsideration of the Opera House and its place in people's thoughts!

I didn't know anything about your town, but now I'm less ignorant! Thank you for visiting Arradon DP!

I've never heard of this park, so I'm getting an education!

...and snow?
You live in a beautiful area!

Oh cool! Is the park always open in winter with such snow? I remember Yosemite being closed during some months.

Yes, I love the Olympics (but I voted for Twilight!). When I was in college a bunch of girlfriends went camping and we had no end of chuckles over the "Hoh Rainforest".
A beautiful place you live.

Looks mighty chilly up there. What is it like in the summer?

Thanks for stopping by! This photo was taken at the entrance gate to Hurricane Ridge, the parks winter ski area. It is a small ski area, but it is absolutely beautiful. In the summer it is a wonderful place to hike, and the weather is warm and mild. The park has widely varied terrain, from glaciers to ocean beaches.

Yes! perfect call for our theme day. You covered what I first think of in yesterday's post (I've been on that ferry). The Park is such a treasure and I wish everyone around the globe could experience it. Through your blog they can get a taste of it.

Beautiful northwoods in the winter. Our National Parks are a real treasure!

I wonder if they have many visitors in the winter time? It might be very cold, but very pretty there as well.

A good choice for theme day!

Your area is so far to my little Holland that I had not heard of this national park before, but looked it up on internet. I'm so glad to belong to the DCP community, it improves our geographical knowledge! Cheers from the Hague Daily (and thanks for visiting my blog)

I didn't know that. But it's beautiful. Do you use it yourself?
