Farewell Port Angeles, it's been swell. Due to a job situation I am moving away from the area, the blog will stay up as an archive.

Our town is down to one bowling alley. This one went out of business and is being turned into a car dealership. It was amazing how quickly they were able to tear this building down. The crane operator was very good, he had to move the huge beams while being surrounded by power lines.

It was sad to see it come down.I had this fantasy about turning it into a cool retro bowling alley.I sure hope they use the beams in the new dealership.

I too was sad to see it go, in my opinion it was a much nicer bowling alley then Laurel Lanes. It had great pool tables and a good little arcade area, Laurel Lanes has no arcade area at all these days :(

Say, elvistar, Would you be able to take a picture of the Dollar Store up in the plaza next time you have the chance? I need a picture of it to show someone and I do not have a good camera to take it. I would really appreciate it! Thanks if you can.

I love your Port Angeles photo blog! I can tell that you take great pride in your photography. :)
