What a sweet photo; I wonder if this is a child's gravesite. Have to go back now to checkit out.
It's the marker for a veteran of World War II. Thanks for stopping by.
What a poignant little bird you've found to share with us. The perspective you used increases its impact. Great job.
You've framed it beautifully.
What a great photo! Amazing what you can find when you go looking.
Love the angle you've taken this photo and thank for info on the grave itself.Great perspective.
Love how you frame it.
Ah, so the dove of peace. Very nice.
si fragile, si beau, si simple, bravo
so fragile, so beautiful, so simple, cheer
This is a very beautiful photo. So peaceful. I like the other photos of your blog too. Thank you for visiting my blog today. :-)
(I have a hard time posting my comment on your blog)...
Don't believe I have ever seen a bird sculpture in the cemeteries around here. Very nice.
It is interesting what one finds in a cemetery! Some are elaborate, others are simple - this bird is simply sweet.
This drippy weather we are having is the perfect backdrop to your very beautiful photo. I love your point of view in this shot. It speaks volumes, especially the bits of rust and rough patina of the dove. . .a fitting thought for a veteran's marker. Kudos on this photo, a great one for our theme day.

First time I see a rustic dove in a cemetery, interesting shot!
What a lovely photo--very poignant. How wonderful someone cared enough to add the bird. Very well framed, it's a very striking photo!
Thanks for your visit to Arlington DP!
I like the angle that this photo is taken! Beautiful!
A very sweet photo.
excellent photo capture, keeping the background out of focus, nice job.
Very interesting bird structure on the tomb stone. Very sweet and very beautiful.
thats the cutest tomb so far hehe.
a nicely composed picture
Nice photo. Very well composed. Interesting that the ornament was on a WWII vet's grave. Maybe it was left by a grandchild or great grandchild.
