This downtown mural is being removed panel by panel. An artist is saving the panels, so he can recreate the same mural on the concrete.

Cool! Now it will look terrible for tourist season. Way to go PA!
Interesting timing no doubt. Maybe the artist will be painting all summer to entertain the tourists!?!
Yes, I agree about bad timing. I just moved here, and am having a lot of company this summer and that downtown area is one of my favorite places. When I drove by to see the mural being taken down, I was a little sad. Maybe they will have it done quickly. It certainly is part of downtowns charm.
